Stories that spark kindness, courage, and climate hope — through the eyes of Australia’s most lovable animal heroes.
I came to Australia from St Andrews more than twenty years ago with a dream of making fresh water using renewable energy. I’m a designer, a grandad, and I still think big problems deserve simple, workable solutions.
My wife, Margi, was wonderful. She encouraged my writing and proof read my work. After she passed away, I stopped doing weekend markets because our dog Freya would howl if left alone. Now I focus on children’s books, because kids can teach their parents. And yes, I’m still worried about the climate.
My dream is to build machines that make fresh water from the sea without outside power.
These books are written to help families talk about climate change in a way that feels human, hopeful, and doable. Some began as poems, and some are children’s stories with Australian animal heroes.
